Here goes:
- Born and raised in NC, lived in TX for about 4 yrs after college and then came back to my home city
- Attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
- Married almost four years the ideal man sent by God, Lennon Parson, Jr ๐
- Worked in the corporate world for over 12 years, long enough
- Was in direct sales as an art consultant where I presented in home art shows for almost 4 yrs; got back into direct sales in 2014
- Have been working my online business full-time since 2008
What brings me joy:
Being able to point people in the right direction when they are unsure about what they should be doing online. Those just getting started online have heard they should be on this and that, but don’t understand why. I get excited being the one holding the flashlight in the midst of the fog.
What saddens me:
It saddens me that many gifted people are still sitting in cubicles when they’ve been called to far greater. The very thing that comes easy to you is the very thing that will create your wealth.
What’s my personal mission:
To free people from the bondage of their cubicle and show them real people do make real money online.
When I’m not online I’m:
*Hangin’ out with my wonderful Hubby ๐
*Watching Netflix and Hulu! I love documentaries.
*Reading books on my Kindle.
*At the movies, mainly for the popcorn.
You’d be surprised to know:
-I’m an only child, which has helped out a lot with working virtually. I really should write a blog post about that.
-I teach a group fitness class at an all women’s gym.
-I’m a closet actress. I come out when someone has written a really good Christian play and requests I audition or lets me know they have a part for me. Clearly they’re on my friends list. LOL! I did do one commercial and was an extra. Not sure if it ever came out, however I did get paid for my time. Oh yeah!
And the corporate side of me is… (in case you’re wondering)…
I have over 12 years of professional experience including software development, customer service, program management, and report analysis.
In 1998, I completed computer training with Chubb Computer Services where I gained knowledge surrounding mainframe software development. This is where my love for technology and computers all began. I later worked in the telecommunications industry as a software engineer.
I have Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Policy Analysis from UNC-Chapel Hill (Go โHeels) and have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Management: Wellness and Fitness from California University of Pennsylvania, my first experience communicating virtually and where I learned the term “virtual assistant.”
Okay, enough about me, I’d love to connect with you. Be sure to introduce yourself over on my Facebook page!
